Opry at the Ryman
The first of the two shows at the Ryman Auditorium as part of the Sound and Speed Festival was great. Jason Michael Carroll's version of He Stopped Loving Her Today made me cry as does the original by George Jones everytime I hear it. Danny Gokey made his Opry debut during the show. Seeing the Opry at the Ryman is the only way to go. I am glad my annual visit to Nashville always happens during the time they leave the "new" Opry House and return to the Ryman. I would recommend a show at the Ryman to anyone whether a fan of country music or not.
